Yoga is good for every body! Whatever your fitness level or body shape, we hope you’ll join us here at Zenya for our yoga classes. Our expert instructors know everyone isn’t starting out in the same place, and they are eager to help you feel strong and confident.

Vinyasa I ♦

Vinyasa I is appropriate for students of all ages as well as, fitness and flexibility levels. Absolute beginners to yoga are totally welcome! Experience union of the mind & body with this introductory class that emphasizes internal focus and basic yoga postures while concentrating on proper alignment, breath, & flexibility.

Vinyasa II ♦♦

This class offers a flowing practice for experienced yoga students already comfortable with yoga postures and sun salutations. Vinyasa integrates breath and movement, inner and outer alignment, and strength and flexibility. Postures are linked together in a continuous and challenging flow. This class will engage prana, or energy found within the breath, and will leave you feeling energized, centered, and engaged.

Gentle flow ♦

Gentle Flow is a slower paced, flowing class that synchronizes movement with breathing. Focusing on relaxation and stress release, this class is perfect for both starting a new practice or enhancing an existing one. Gentle flow will rejuvenate the body and mind with a combination of gentle and restorative postures followed by deep relaxation.

Flow ♦♦

This class is tailored to the seasoned student who likes to sweat and be challenged, both at the physical and mental level. This teaching emphasizes the linking of breath to movement by encouraging a meditation in motion through a steady and consistent flow from pose to pose.

Barre-Fusion ♦

This all-levels, sculpting class blends basic ballet and dance principles with the core strengthening techniques of yoga and pilates to stretch, tone, and lengthen muscles. Most of the class is performed on the barre or “bar” (hence the name) and is accompanied by light weights and props for a total body workout. It’s a great way to build core strength and sculpt the lower and upper body, while adding variety to yoga. Great for all ages and fitness levels!

Ashtanga ♦♦

Ashtanga is a vigorous style of yoga and is considered the ultimate expression of the psycho-physical practices of yoga. In it, besides the positions (Asanas), there are several techniques to control breathing and movements. It is the only style of yoga that uses these dynamic types of sequences. Ashtanga purifies and strengthens the body, aligning the entire muscle system and calming the mind. It is a practice oriented to obtain a comprehensive development of body, mind and spirit. It will lead its practitioners to achieve higher levels of flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular fitness.

Hatha ♦

This all levels class taught in traditional Hatha style that invites you to relax, renew, and rejuvenate through the healing practice of sun salutations, standing, balancing and seated postures. This class is designed for all ages and all levels of fitness. Enjoy a combination of balance and harmony through slow and relaxed movements. With emphasis on self-awareness, breath, and gentleness to the body, this class helps to increase flexibility and balance, improve strength, and control responses to stress.

Yoga For Stress Relief ♦

This calming, therapeutic practice aims to release the stresses of the day through a slow and nurturing practice. Suitable for beginners and experienced yoga practitioners, this class will lead you through postures and breathing that will help you unwind naturally. Experience relaxation and calmness of the body, mind, and spirit, and equip yourself to better handle the stresses of life.

Yoga Tone ♦♦

This invigorating class places emphasis on strength and flexibility through varied sets of sequenced asanas that are practiced with strong purpose. You’re invited to deepen your practice with segments of core and total body work as well as yoga flow paired with contemporary music. This class is for students of the intermediate to advanced level. Come experience the workout that guarantees results you will be able to see and feel!

Yin Yoga ♦♦

Yin Yoga is cooling, calming, deeply relaxing and is designed to lengthen and transform the connective tissue (fascia) of the body, which includes the ligaments and tendons. This deep, passive practice settles you into poses for 2-5 minutes, bringing you inward meditatively. This practice increases flexibility, especially in the spine and hips and is extremely restorative and rehabilitative for the joints and muscles. Psychologically, it connects you to your intuitive and creative self. True health and fitness requires a dynamic balance of both yin and yang — of action and repose, of activity and receptivity, of movement and stillness. This class is appropriate for men and women of all ages, flexibility, and fitness levels. Some yoga experience is recommended.

Vinyasa- All Levels ♦

The breath is used to guide dynamic movement through basic and intermediate postures. This moderately paced class alternates between dynamic movements in postures and sinking deeper into still poses. A guided deep relaxation concludes the class and you finish by walking in your mind on a beach, through a gentle rain storm, or wherever is a place of complete relaxation for you. This fun and upbeat class is great for those who have a restless body and mind, who are seeking a focused state. Great for all levels and is appropriate for beginners as well, due to the slower tempo.

Prenatal Yoga ♦

This class is designed to meet the needs of pregnancy and the new beginnings of motherhood. Come strengthen and relax your body, ease your mind, and connect with your baby in a safe and supportive environment. Increase muscle tone & stimulate the metabolism for a strong body, a calm mind, and an awakened spirit. Feel inspired and nourished in a community of women sharing the experience of pregnancy and birth with you.
